This is a sturdy tripod, painted black so as not to draw attention from neighbors. The mast insert has holes pre-drilled so that you can put a PVC insert inside the mast and make it secure, adding a few feet of non-conductive material to affix an antenna. I recommend this mast.
only suggestion would be a similar pin style locking mechanism for the legs as is used on the extendable mast.
