NOTE – You can request a custom length for the jumper wire, but it must be at least 18 inches and no more than 20 feet to prevent sagging to the ground. When checking out, simply add a note in the Comment field with your desired length.

- Push the included Mounting Spike into the ground.
- Extend the jumper wire between the Match and downspout, keeping it off the ground, and secure it with the included clip at the bottom of your downspout.
- Then attach any length of coax to the connector on the bottom of the AutoMatch and run your coax to your equipment.

Note that what detracts from gutters performing well as an antenna ‘out in the open’, is a home with either steel/aluminum or ‘Stucco Wire Lath’, often called Chicken Wire. Fortunately, many modern stucco systems have transitioned to a Fiberglass Mesh Lath. Metal structures will change the way RF is received or transmited.

Alpha Antenna HOA Buster for 10-80 meters
I moved into a restrictive HOA in Hawaii. It’s already challenging living on an island where “everywhere is DX for us” , but the HOA rules make it nearly impossible to get an effective antenna up. I installed the HOA Buster and wow! I was admittedly skeptical, but it works surprisingly well! After I found a good spot where the downspout was at the end of the run, I hooked things up, then went around my gutters with self tapping screws and ensured good connectivity between segments. Well over 100ft of gutter is in play, and I’m able to tune 10-160m and it works! Even with TechShield (metal w/ insulation) installed in the adjacent roof, everything still tunes and performs well! The HOA Buster has rescued my hobby!
