TM-705 Tripod Mount
This Tripod Mount (TM-705) for the Icom AL-705 antenna will fit on any tripod with a 1/4 20 male thread. On the other side are two screws that fit into the tabs which came with your antenna, that you must first install on the tuning box of the AL-705.
This tripod mount, or TM-705, has been designed in Fusion 360, and takes 4 hours for our equipment to build. Each thermoplastic polyester unit is then finished off by hand with a milled aluminum adapter, which will fit on any tripod with a 1/4 20 male thread. On the other side are two holes that are especially formed with a tap that provide a perfect fit for the two stainless steel screws that supports the Icom AL705 antenna.

Just the thing to mount my Mag Loop on the tripod. Simple bit of kit. Brilliant design.

When I purchased the Alpha Antenna AL-705 for my ICOM IC-705 all multiband Transceiver in England UK, I found out that I did not have the parts needed to be able to mount the AL-705 Magnetic Loop antenna onto the tripod and I also found out that you could not purchase these needed parts in the Uk. So, I got in touch direct with Alpha Antennas and they where really helpful in confirming the part numbers I needed and they also emailed me photographs of the needed parts and the cost to ship them over to my home address in the UK. On placing my order, the shipment arrived at my home address in a very short time which was well packed to protect against any damage during the shipment.
