I have put off installing a mobile HF antenna on my Toyota Tacoma for some time but then ran across the Alpha MOTO antenna and read all the great reviews on its performance.

I purchased my Alpha MOTO antenna from Steve at his store. Customer service including communication was excellent and the antenna arrived in two separate boxes; one for the base and mount and the other box a couple days later contained the stainless-steel whip.

Installation was a breeze, and I immediately began to make contacts on 10, 15, 17, 20, 40 and 80 meters mobile. Montana, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, British Columbia and Maine so far from my area here in Ontario. I can’t believe how quiet this antenna is; at one point I checked the radio to make sure it was actually working!

This mobile antenna is a winner in my mind for the following reason:
a. great seller service
b. great value as it can also be used with a 60 foot end-fed element as a portable or base antenna
c. simple, rugged design with no moving parts
d. stainless steel throughout
e. very quiet receive (really!)
f. excellent performance.
